Important note to Club Members and friends…
Sometimes there is insufficient signal strength to make a 999 voice call on your mobile in the mountains, but a text may work. The 999 service has introduced a service to use this facility, but you MUST register first.
To register is simple. Text the word “register” to 999. You will receive a text acknowledgement with instructions. Once you have read their response, simply text “yes” back and your registration will be confirmed.
