After looking at various suggestions for next years trip the committee has decided on an area not previously visited by the club for this event.<\/p>\n
Accommodation has been found in Strathfillan between Crainlarich and Tyndrum. This gives easy access to a good number of Munros and Corbetts including Ben More and Ben Dorain. A good selection of lower level walks are available. In fact the West Highland Way passes our front door.<\/p>\n
The accommodation will consist of a farmhouse sleeping 14 in 5 bedrooms with all mod cons. More space in the form of 4 bed cabins are available if demand is high. These are a short distance from the farmhouse.<\/p>\n
Access is good, being on the A82 with those who favour rail travel being well provided for with Tyndrum (not a big place) having two separate lines and stations.<\/p>\n
The costs will depend on numbers attending so if you are interested let Dick know as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
I know that with summer coming (we hope) it may seem a bit early to be thinking of winter in Scotland but this is always a popular trip so bookings need to be got in early.<\/p>\n
The proposed dates are Sat 23rd Feb to Sat 2nd March 2013.<\/p>\n
