Hastings Rock and Fell Club is an active, friendly, Sussex based club organising regular climbing and walking trips and social activities. Weekend day trips to Swanage and Portland are common throughout the summer months.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tIndoor Climbing\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t When it is too cold and wet to climb outdoors HRFC members climb on an indoor climbing wall, normally at the Withdean Sports Centre<\/a> in Brighton on a Wednesday evening. Club members also visit indoor climbing walls at Chimera<\/a> in Tunbridge Wells or Volume 1<\/a> in East Grinstead and there are occasional trips further afield by club members, to The Reach<\/a> in south-east London for example.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWalking\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t The club has an active walking section and organises regular day and evening walks in Sussex. Members will also be seen out walking in the hills on club trips (see below.)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tClub Trips\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t We organise regular social activities including summer and winter barbecues, parties and cinema trips. We regularly organise trips both in the UK and abroad. Annual visits to the Peaks, North Wales, bouldering at Fontainebleau and a winter week in the Scottish Highlands.
